“METTICI IL CUORE” (“PUT YOUR HEART INTO IT”): A PUPPET SHOW AND MANIPULATION D’OBJETS BY NINA MASTROROSA

In Pamela Mastrorosa’s one-woman show “Mettici il cuore” (“Put Your Heart Into It”), the protagonist pulls out from a box of memories objects related to her childhood: dolls, clothes, books, toys etc. and brings them to life as funny and poetic characters. Appropriate for children as well as adults, this show makes its way into the spectators’ hearts by making them laugh, dream, smile, reflect and appreciate the magical simplicity of everyday things.  The performance is wordless and Mastrorosa communicates with the spectator only through looks and smiles. The show is inspired by Mastrorosa’s own childhood memories and dedicated to her father.

Mastrorosa will give two performances of the show in Delhi.

On 25 February at the Italian Embassy Cultural Centre, New Delhi, 6.30pm.
On 18th February as part of the Ishara Puppet Festival 2020, India Habitat Centre Ampitheatre, 7.30pm.

Open to children as well as adults.
